THE SEA GOT INTO MY HEART
The sea got into my heart
and the darness of my soul,
if there was any, become
a deep blue light.
taking up again the breeze of freedom
and searching in its way
for other moons, for other night
where it could defeat the shadows
with swords of verses
and reach the dawn with this breeze
protecting my fears,
protecting my sanity,
protecting my time,
protecting my love for the sea and for life.

El mar lo meti en mi corazón
y la oscuridad de mi alma si la había,
se convertía en luz azul,
retomaba la brisa de la libertad,
y continuaba el camino,
buscando otras lunas, otras noches,
donde poder derrotar las sombras
con la espada de los versos,
y llegar al amanecer
con esa brisa protegiendo mis temores,
protegindo mi cordura, protegiendo mi tiempo,
protegiendo mi amor por el mar y la vida.
